Sydney: Community engagement by Chinese firms in Australia: Practices and benefits

The Australia China Business Council in conjunction with RMIT is excited to present its latest seminar: “Community engagement by Chinese firms in Australia:  Practices and benefits”.

Dr Huang and Dr Staples from RMIT have been awarded funding by the Australia-China Council (ACC) under the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

This research looks at ways in which Chinese companies engage with the Australian community, when doing business in Australia.

Specifically the projects objectives are to;

  • promote the best practices of community engagement by Chinese companies in Australia,
  • enhance the awareness of the importance of community engagement among Chinese firms, and;
  • Promote the social benefits of Chinese investment to the Australian public, communities and governments.
