The Australia China Business Council invites Sydney-based businesses to participate in the Guangzhou-Sydney Business Summit to be held in Guangzhou on Wednesday 1 June 2016. The Guangzhou-Sydney Business Summit is part of the program to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the sister-city relationship between the City of Sydney and Guangzhou City.
Content and Insights

This free summit aims to develop and build stronger business to business connections between the City of Sydney and Guangzhou. The summit will showcase companies from both Guangzhou and the City of Sydney through panel discussions and case studies.

  • Hear from Australian companies who have successfully entered the Chinese market.
  • Develop personal business connections with Guangzhou based businesses.
  • Understand the opportunities for Guangzhou and Sydney as global trading hubs
  • Explore the opportunities for deeper trade ties between the two cities.
  • Participate in tailored business matching session for Sydney and Guangzhou companies participating in the event.

With our event partner, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Province, and support from the Guangzhou Municipal Government through City of Sydney, delegates will have an opportunities to connect with complimentary companies through a carefully considered business matching program.  
Networking opportunities will occur throughout the day. Along with the Business Summit, Australian delegates will also have opportunities to participate in and network through a range of other activities supported by the City of Sydney from 31 May to 3 June.
