ACBC Victoria is pleased to invite you to an event where The Hon John Brumby, President of the Australia China Business Council, former Victorian Labor Party Politician and Premier of Victoria from 2007-2010, will be launching his book The Long Haul: Lessons from Public Life.

The Long Haul draws on John Brumby's thirty years of experience in politics providing a range of practical lessons on leadership and public life. It further offers insights into the current challenges and opportunities faced by Australia, arguing for real political reform spanning areas such as parliamentary, tax, health and education reform, a different future for our federation and strong leadership for a world in transition. The Long Haul has already received notable praise with former Prime Minister Julia Gillard stating that 'everyone who cares deeply about our nation's prospects will devour this book and keep it in easy reach.'

This official launch will offer attendees a rare opportunity to hear a firsthand account of Brumby's experiences and the subjects discussed in his book. Following this, guests will be able to engage in networking drinks.

Please book early! Places are strictly limited, members will receive priority consideration
