The recently signed China Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA) is a watershed moment in the Sino-Australian relationship. For Victorian exporters there is now unprecedented access to the China market. This combined with many Chinese firms looking to invest in Australia, presents significant opportunities for local regional communities.
To assist regional areas in being suitably prepared to take advantage of these opportunities, the Australia China Business Council (ACBC) Victoria is taking its Growing Business Opportunities with China series to Gippsland to unravel how the ChAFTA can best benefit the local business community.

Proudly sponsored by Tabro Meats, this event promises to give attendees insight into the complexities of the China market and provide expert advice on how your business can reap the awards offered by the ChAFTA.

The seminar will feature experienced speakers presenting on:
  • What the ChAFTA offers local industries in the Gippsland region
  • How E-Commerce can be used to gain access to the Chinese middle class
  • What inbound Chinese investment means for local communities
  • Lessons learnt from local enterprises doing business with China
  • Overview of the recently launched ACBC China Business Network - Gippsland Chapter
