Professor Li Xindan, one of China’s foremost economic and financial experts, is excellently placed to comment upon the direction of China’s current economy and upcoming national economic strategy, including:

-          China’s next Five Year Plan, and its implications for trade and investment

-          China and the post-GFC global economy: China leading the global recovery?

-          Prospects for China as a preferred location for FDI

Professor Li’s experience spans the private, public and academic sectors. He is the Director of the Institute of Financial Engineering at Nanjing University and Deputy Dean of the Graduate School of Management Science and Engineering. He also serves as a member of the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s Corporate Governance Committee. Amongst other responsibilities Professor Li also serves as an independent director of a number of listed companies in China.

Over 20 years of teaching, research and administrative experience mean Professor Li’s wealth and depth of knowledge is widely recognised. He is acknowledged as an Outstanding Expert with Special Subsidies by the State Council and a New Century Outstanding Talent by the Ministry of Education of the PRC. He was also a Fulbright Visiting Professor at Yale University from 2004 to 2005.
