Bio - Nicolas Zurstrassen, CEO, Belong

Nicolas has been at the forefront of digital innovation in the Chinese and Asian market since establishing one of China's first digital agencies back in 1998. From 2007 to 2014 (and across two Olympic Games, including Beijing), Nicolas led all Nike China’s digital marketing and commerce initiatives. He launched Nike China's e-commerce operations which reached more than 100 M USD in revenue and as Nike's Digital General Manager, built and led the Digital brand organization in China. He was then on the management team of Baozun, which is China's largest ecommerce service provider, with more than 100 multinational clients, including Burberry, Coach, Nike and Microsoft. At Baozun, Nicolas was responsible for driving strategy and marketing services, leading the sports-related businesses and supporting the listing of Baozun on Nasdaq in 2015. He has also held position as Head of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships for IHG China. He is currently an active investor in retail start-ups as well as the founder of Belong, providing solutions and community for foreign students in Australia.
