ACBC Victoria invites you to our event ‘Agribusiness Trade & Policy Briefing: Updates on the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA), The Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) and The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP)’

Join members and friends of ACBC Victoria for a light lunch with networking, followed by presentations and Q&A with our guest speakers from Austrade and DFAT.

The briefing will address:

  • Where Australia stands with tariff reductions on main agribusiness and food categories since ChAFTA’s inception
  • Opportunities under ChAFTA for Australian Businesses exporting to China in the agribusiness and food sector
  • Obstacles to market access including sanitary/phytosanitary restrictions, changes in commodity inspection and food safety regulation
  • The Trade Facilitation Agreement its relevance Australia’s agribusiness and food trade with China
  • The Trans-Pacific Partnership and its impact on Australia’s bilateral trade agreements, including ChAFTA
