Our guest speaker is Mr Philip Smith, State Director for SME - Victoria & Tasmania, Efic.  

He will provide insight into how to overcome the financing challenges faced by SMEs, as well as how Efic provide financial solutions for:

  • Australian companies looking to expand their business operations overseas to better service their clients

About our speaker:

Phil Smith, State Director for SME - Vic & Tas, Efic 
Philip is responsible for building and executing Efic’s origination strategy for small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in Victoria and Tasmania. Working closely with clients, banks and other industry groups, Philip provides simple and creative financial solutions to Australian companies to enable them to win business, grow internationally and achieve export success. Philip has an extensive background in financial services. Over the past 25 years he has held many senior roles, including working for the 3 of the 4 major trading banks in Australia and internationally in South Africa, America, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
