About the speakers:

Maggie Zhou, Managing Director, Alibaba Group (Australia and NZ)

Maggie Zhou was appointed Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand in March 2016 for Alibaba Group. As one of the key veterans of the company, Maggie has witnessed major company developments as the company has expanded its businesses outside of China and as well as the progression and development of Mainland China’s e-commerce market.
In her current role, as part of the company’s expansion plans, she is responsible for establishing a local presence for Alibaba in Australia and New Zealand to further develop infrastructure and help local merchants enter the vast China consumer market.
Maggie has been a key contributor to Alibaba Group’s strategy to internationalise its business and its mission – to make it easy to do business anywhere.

Sicheng Yu, Vice President, Alibaba Group and General Manager, Alibaba Cloud Global
Mr. Sicheng YU is Vice President of Alibaba Group and General Manager of overseas business at Alibaba Cloud, Alibaba Group’s cloud computing arm. After joining Alibaba Group in July 2014, he took on oversight of Alibaba Cloud Global when the team was founded in January 2015. As an important part of Alibaba globalization effort, he is expanding teams in US, Singapore, Middle East, Europe, and partnership with global companies.  He is also building datacenters in these areas with significant capital investment. According to IDC report for public cloud market in 2015, Alibaba Cloud ranked #5 globally.
Mr. Yu has two decades of experience in the Internet and IT industries, including 16 years at Oracle Corp., where he was Vice President of Oracle Greater China and also managed a 500-member pre-sales team supporting the company’s database, middleware and ERP product lines in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. At Oracle, Mr. Yu also served as the technical spokesperson for the China market, giving public lectures and speeches on cloud computing, big data and engineering systems.

Mr. Yu started his career as CTO and Architect of FactoryMall.com, an e-commerce pioneer in the U.S. city of Seattle, then a senior technical staff at Descartes Systems, before joining BEA Systems, a leading provider of enterprise application infrastructure solutions that was acquired by Oracle in 2008. After serving on a key product development team in the U.S., Mr. Yu transferred to BEA’s China field sales operation, where he led the local team and participated in the company’s rapid growth in the mainland market.

Raymond Ma, Head of ANZ & ASEAN, Alibaba Cloud
Raymond Ma is leading Alibaba Cloud business in ANZ and ASEAN, providing cloud and big data services to startups, SME, corporation and government clients. Before that, Raymond led Alibaba Cloud business in China public sector. Raymond has great interest and experience in startup and mobile internet. Raymond was the co-founder of China largest female mobile app, Dayima, which focuses on menstrual health and caring for female health. Till 2015, Dayima has more than 100M registered users.

Raymond has 10+ year experience in IBM. Raymond led IBM Smarter Cities global product management work in IBM software group, and before that, he led China SOE IT consulting service in IBM global business service group. Raymond got his computer science master and bachelor degrees from Northwestern Polytechnical University in China, and got his MBA degree from Vlerick Business School.
