Accessing ChAFTA in Four Steps

In 2016-7, Australian exports increased 25% to a record $110 and it is hard to argue that ChAFTA (The China Australia Free Trade Agreement) has not played a significant role in this growth.

This episode is specifically for current exporters or those wishing to export to China as I sit down with Collins Rex from the Export Council to discuss how to access ChAFTA.  We discuss how gains from ChAFTA are not automatic and there are four distinct steps businesses must follow to ensure their tariffs are reduced under ChAFTA. Collins also outlines the benefits for the services sector.
