Australian Brands and Chinese Lifestyle: More than Just Fashion Talk

China’s consumer-led growth has contributed to the country’s continuous economic vibrancy, with many foreign brands planning to expand their China presence in the next few years.
Following ACBC’s successful 2012 event "Enter the Luxury World of Chinese Consumers", Timothy Coghlan, Senior Manager of Luxury Retail for Savills China and writer of Maosuit.com - a blog dedicated to the business of fashion and luxury in China - will speak again to our members and friends on March 20. This time Timothy will engage in discussion with some of the leading figures in China’s fashion and lifestyle circle, including:
Zhang Qinghui - Vice President of China Fashion Association
Hu Nan - Editor-in-Chief, Fashion China Magazine
Miao Hongbing - President, of Beijing White Collar Fashion Co., Ltd
The panel will inform the audience of new trends in China’s fashion industry and consumption patterns, emerging Chinese brands and opportunities for amplifying the profiles of Australian brands, both locally and globally.
Timothy is also a special alumni guest at this year’s L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival and speaker at the "LMFF K&L Gates Law Breakfast". Thanks to L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival and Australia China Council for supporting this event.
