Address by the Hon Dr Craig Emerson MP, Minister for Trade

ACBC is delighted to announce that Trade Minister the Hon Dr Craig Emerson MP will launch the 2012 Update to the ACBC's Benefits to Australian Households of Trade with China Report at the National Press Club on Tuesday 3 April 2012. The Minister will launch this report and speak to the importance of China. This address by Minister Emerson will provide an insight to the Government’s thinking as it prepares the White Paper on Australia in the Asian Century.
ACBC will be launching the 2012 update to its flagship annual research focusing on the benefits to Australian households of trade with China. Prepared by the Allen Consulting Group and now in its third year, this major piece of research is often cited by politicians on both sides of the spectrum, referred to in op-ed pieces in major newspapers and is widely regarded as a major contribution to Australia’s national conversation regarding trade and investment with China.

The Australia China Quarterly, the ACBC's new flagship journal will also be launched at this event.
